Often called K-pop’s champions of youth, TWS (pronounced ‘Two-Us’) enters a new era with their 5th Mini Album NO TRAGEDY, arriving April 27 at 5 AM Eastern Time (6 PM Korean Standard Time).

Named as the only K-pop artist on Rolling Stone’s Future 25 of 2026, the sextet—comprising SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON, and KYUNGMIN—will show how they’ve grown up and evolved beyond their innocent boyhood days through this six-track album, according to PLEDIS Entertainment in a press release.

‘Boyhood Pop’ represents the group’s music, which depicts the daily, radiant lives of boys. Member JIHOON told Rolling Stone that their unique sound will only keep expanding. “We consider ‘Boyhood Pop’ as a genre, story, and spectrum that’s widening and broadening,” he explained. “We want to exude that positivity for listeners.”

With that perspective in mind, NO TRAGEDY explores TWS’ take on romance. Rather than giving in to a predetermined destiny, the members are shaping their own love story where tragedy doesn’t exist. Every track conveys their determination to shatter limitations as they run toward love.

Fans got a first look at the new era during the final day of the 2026 TWS 2ND FANMEETING <42:CLUB> IN SEOUL. A 14-second surprise teaser video showed the members running through a neon-lit space, catching their breath just before the EP title NO TRAGEDY and its release date flashed across the screen.

On April 10, TWS also released a plot-twisting, Romeo-and-Juliet-inspired narrative trailer OPENING SONNET : star-cross'd lovers, with the title taken from the widely known phrase in the prologue of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet

The two-minute video pulls fans into a dreamy and ethereal room, filled with soft visuals and a cinematic instrumental. Opening on a moment of pure youthful anticipation, DOHOON is seen happily walking around the space, clearly a boy in love, as he overthinks how to draft the perfect text confession. Before he can hit send, a message pops up first: “I really like you.” A bright smile breaks across his face as he clutches his phone in an elated hug. Nearby, KYUNGMIN is carefully wrapping a gift, capturing the quiet, heart-fluttering excitement of a first love.

The atmosphere feels still and composed as YOUNGJAE traces the phrase “star-cross'd lovers” on the prologue page of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. However, the mood shifts as the scene lingers. The tone darkens when SHINYU and HANJIN appear deep in thought, and JIHOON ruffles his hair in frustration as tension bubbles to the surface.

Suddenly, the boys’ fleeting moments of excitement fracture. A swan ornament, once facing its partner, shatters into pieces, followed by a stark, chilling warning: “BEWARE THE STAR’S CURSE AGAINST LOVE.” The entire space begins to shake like an earthquake, distorting and warping around them. In the chaos, a blinding, unidentified light cuts through HANJIN’s cheek, leaving a red scratch behind, and the phone DOHOON was holding slips from his grip, hitting the floor and cracking the screen. The trailer closes with that same unidentified light rushing toward HANJIN, leaving the story unresolved and fans questioning what fate has in store for the group.

Aside from the teaser trailers, TWS revealed a series of concept photos, further raising the interest of fans. They first dropped the ‘LOVE GUIDE’ version, which took a playful, guidebook-style look at romance. This was followed by the ‘FINAL MOVE’ version, capturing the emotional highs and lows of real-life dates. These photos altogether show a natural progression from just exploring the idea of love to actively pursuing it.

But the group didn't stop there, releasing several other aesthetics through their Official Photo COMPACT versions—‘HUSH,’ ‘BLUSH,’ and ‘RUSH’—alongside the ‘ROMEO CAT’ version. On top of that, the group shared their tracklist, which consists of six songs. Fans can look forward to the title track “널따라가 (You, You)” and five B-sides, including “All The Possibilities,” “Why You So Bad?,” “Get It Now,” “Fire Escape,” and “Back To Strangers.”

To give fans a taste of the new sound, TWS also unveiled a highlight medley, offering a sneak peek into the vibe of each track.
