Hearts2Hearts “couldn’t even care less” If You Think They’re ‘RUDE!’

‘I couldn't even care less’ (Ha-ha)”
The interlude that Stella from Hearts2Hearts says during their new single, “RUDE!,” has become a viral trend on TikTok, with many artists joining in on the fun like Yoonchae of Katseye and Wumuti of XLOV. Fans are also creating their own funny edited versions. While listening to the new track, it feels as if you're talking to your best friends at a get-together, gossiping, and then Stella tells us all about how some boy thought she was rude. But she lets us know confidently that she couldn't even care less because Hearts2Hearts lives life authentically, and won’t let anyone confine them to what’s the norm.
“RUDE!” is the first release of 2026 for the K-pop girl group. Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on debuted through SM Entertainment one year ago on February 24, 2025, and have since had a momentous run, earning seven ‘Rookie of The Year’ awards in 2025, and with the start of 2026, they've added two more rookie awards for a total of nine. This has been the most rookie awards any artist who debuted in 2025 has scored.
Their previous release, “FOCUS,” from the group’s first mini album FOCUS, is a house track that is dreamy with a chic vibe. This time with “RUDE!,” the track is house-based with cheerful synths, creating a danceable and addictive beat. Within the lyrics, one learns that people are going to judge and be jealous, but you should always be bold and be your authentic self. No one should control you or influence you to act a certain way, especially based on someone else’s version of what is right. In the chorus they sing:
“Rude / I don't care, 이게 나라구 (나라구) / 아무렇게나 추는 춤 (Yeah; 따라 해) / You can't make me act right.”
This translates to “Rude / I don’t care, this is me (this is me) / I dance however I want (Yeah; follow me) / You can’t make me act right.” An unapologetic, rebellious anthem for being yourself and enjoying the moment.
Adding to the song and lyrics, the music video shows cute Y2K graphics where the members appear as factory workers creating glowing hearts or “social media ‘likes.’” It’s a ‘fake heart’ that disrupts everything, extinguishing the light of the ‘Super Heart.’ Mirroring their lyrics, the girls share to not be fake but be authentic, or else you’ll lose the light that is within yourself.
Hearts2Hearts debuted the performance of “RUDE!” live at their first-ever fan meeting, ‘2026 Hearts2Hearts FANMEETING,’ which took place on February 21 and 22 in South Korea at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park.
Next, the girls will travel overseas to meet global fans. First up was the United States where they held their 2026 Hearts2Hearts Premiere Showcase Hearts 2 House in New York, at the Brooklyn Paramount on March 19, which will be followed up by a show in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on March 22. Later, they will head to Jakarta, Indonesia, for a show on March 28 to continue meeting fans internationally. In May, the girls will attend KCON Japan 2026 for the first time.
