The fin. Brings Psychedelic Aura to North America from Japan

Indie-pop duo The fin. are returning to North America from Japan, following the release of their latest album Somewhere Between. In just a few days, the guys are hitting locations across Canada and the U.S. for their upcoming headline tour, Somewhere Between North America Tour 2026.
The fin. will perform in eight major U.S. cities as well as Vancouver and Toronto in Canada. The fin. are set to take the stage this coming Wednesday, June 3 in Vancouver at the Fox Cabaret for their first show, and will then travel to the U.S., going east from California to New York. The duo will end their run on Tuesday, June 16 in Toronto at the Drake Underground.

Formed in 2012, The fin. was brought to life by Yuto Uchino on vocals, guitar and synth, along with bassist and synth player Kaoru Nakazawa. The duo’s dreamy sound, crafted by Yuto himself, is heavily inspired by indie and psychedelic pop, fused with soul, funk, and jazz. This combination defines their uniquely mellow music style, aimed at providing listeners with “a sense of peace and a floating sensation.” The fin.’s newest album Somewhere Between is a transparent reflection of the group’s musical efforts.
Somewhere Between was released on November 26, 2025, under HIP LAND MUSIC. The album is composed of 11 tracks, featuring dreamy synth-forward songs like “Wonder Why” as well as smooth, silky ones like “Alone in the Sky.”
