Stray Kids ‘RUN IT’ With New Tour & Comeback

Stray Kids’ fans, STAYs, have been waiting patiently for the return of the dynamic eight-member group. The members of this K-pop boy group from JYP Entertainment—Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.—found each other through the Stray Kids 2017 Survival Show. The group has made quite a name for themselves abroad, winning awards in Western music spaces including the Billboard Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards, and touring the world with sold-out stadiums.
Stray Kids last saw their fans back in 2024-2025 while on their dominATE World Tour spanning Asia, North America, and Europe. Since then, the K-pop group has had over six comebacks, two of which were Japanese exclusive releases. It’s clear that STAYs have had more than enough content from this boy group in anticipation of their next world tour, and their wait is finally over!
Following their usual tour pattern, the RUN IT World Tour will start in Seoul, South Korea later this month before extending to the rest of Asia in early 2027 with more dates and locations to be announced. The group’s third world tour, dominATE, sold out shows across the globe. They featured solo music from the album HOP, showcasing each member’s stage presence and sound, as well as unit songs from Mixtape : dominATE. Many fans are eager to see what surprises the boys have in store for these new shows.
In preparation for the tour, Stray Kids are gearing up for their upcoming album This & That, dropping August 6, with a pre-release single titled “RUN IT.” The song pays homage to their fan motto: “Stray Kids Everywhere All Around the World, You Make Stray Kids STAY,” particularly in the chorus, “Woah / Run it everywhere all around the world.” This new single marks a new chapter for the group, acting as an anthem of perseverance. “It's another day, coming on the way / Build another city, run it day and night.”
Stray Kids have been making waves in the K-pop industry by incorporating their Korean heritage into their music and style while still staying true to their EDM and hip-hop-inspired sound. This new single didn’t disappoint in bringing those factors to the forefront. With symbols like the white tiger from Korean mythology and the Korean alphabet visually featured in the music video, the group pays direct tribute to their heritage. In-house producers, 3RACHA, composed of members Bangchan, Changbin and Han, have historically intertwined the sounds of traditional Korean instruments in the music, like the use of samul nori found in their 2021 track “Thunderous.”
On top of these announcements, their company JYP Entertainment has also introduced STRAYCITY, a special music concert series in Latin America centered around Stray Kids. This three-day festival includes performances by fellow K-pop group NEXZ and many other Latin artists like Andres Obregon and RENEE. STRAYCITY is the first K-pop x Latin American festival of its kind, and K-pop fans can look forward to explosive performances from all artists involved. The festival begins in Bogota, Colombia on September 9 and finishes its run in Mexico City, Mexico at the end of the month.
