Hanabie. Brings Harajuku Fury to Denver with Kim Dracula in Tow

On a snowy April night, Denver’s Summit Music Hall became ground zero for a collision of sound as Japan’s metalcore powerhouse Hanabie. and Australia’s avant-metal trailblazer Kim Dracula stormed the stage on their double headliner US Tour Spring 2025. After crowd-amping performances from the two openers, Kaonashi and Crystal Lake, the venue filled with bright energy, excited to see the two genre-defying headliners deliver their anticipated performances.
As the lights dimmed, the crowd began to stir. Kim Dracula emerged from the shadows and moved through the sea of people to make their way to the stage. Fans cheered excitedly as they passed by, surprised that the artist was among them. Once on the stage, Kim Dracula launched into their set. Kim theatrically performed tracks such as “Luck Is a Fine Thing (Give It a Chance),” “Rosé,” and “Killdozer,” keeping fans hanging on to every moment.

Hanabie. exploded onto the stage accompanied by a hardcore backing track, adorned in vibrant Harajuku fashion and metalcore aggression, striking poses and waving to their fans. Frontwoman Yukina’s guttural growls echoed through the music hall, while guitar player Matsuri’s playful presence made even the heaviest riffs feel bubbly. Bassist Hettsu’s infectious headbanging and groovy basslines locked in tightly with Chika’s precise drumming. The group’s ability to jump from brutal breakdowns to glitchy, bubblegum-pop melodies kept the audience on their toes.

Favorite tracks like “NEET GAME” and “O•TA•KU Lovely Densetsu” had the crowd jumping, dancing, and headbanging with full force. The members bounded across the stage feeding off the crowd’s energy. Denver fans unleashed their unrelenting energy as they shouted lyrics with both joy and chaos.
Hanabie.’s set was a whirlwind of color, chaos, and cathartic release. From the moment they took to the stage, it was clear the night would be filled with unforgettable performances from the four girls. Hanabie. proved that their blend of metal and J-pop influences was an experience that left listeners buzzing.

As Hanabie.’s set came to an end and the final notes faded, Hanabie. thanked their fans, their voices filled with gratitude and excitement.
