ENHYPEN Dominates the Coachella Stage for Week Two and Announces New Comeback ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’ out on June 5

Week two of Coachella was nothing short of ecstatic for the seven-member K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN, who concluded their historic Coachella debut on April 21 with a preview of their upcoming album DESIRE : UNLEASH set to be released on June 5, 2025—a remarkable feat for a K-pop group merely five years into their debut. DESIRE : UNLEASH will make it their sixth mini-album, following the release of their repackaged album ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream- last November.

Captivating the festival’s audience one song at a time, the group’s members JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO and NI-KI exuded unwavering energy and confidence throughout their 45-minute live set on the Sahara Stage, accompanied by their dance crew and a live band, who were just as spectacular.

As powerful entrances go, the introduction to the group’s stage was monumental, with the members paying homage to some of the earlier rock anthems in their discography such as “Blockbuster” and “Blessed-Cursed.” The performance moved onto stronger drums and an even heavier build-up with “Future Perfect (Pass The MIC),” comparable to the anticipation fans from across the world felt over the past few months in the lead-up to the group’s Coachella debut. The first portion of the setlist was also accompanied by several dance breaks during “ParadoXXX Invasion,” showcasing the group’s dance prowess.

Through the next song “Paranormal,” a B-side off of their album ROMANCE : UNTOLD, the members eased their way into a more laid-back segment with the audience chanting alongside the group. This transitioned into a slick and groovy 80s-pop-inspired rendition of “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” where you could tell ENHYPEN were truly having the time of their lives on the Sahara stage. Some of the other dance numbers they performed in the mix included “No Doubt,” “Sweet Venom,” and “Daydream.”

The set then took the audience by surprise when the members began singing the opening verse of fan-favorite “Moonstruck,” a sultry love song, which according to the members was a humble request from JAKE for the setlist—a move that we all have to generously thank him for. Despite having done continuous strenuous choreography beforehand, the group managed to showcase their incredible vocals and stability with this dreamy track.

Now that the mid-tempo segment was over, the group was ready to take on some of their popular hits such as “Bite Me,” and amped up the festival vibes with an EDM rendition of “Drunk-Dazed.” The ending to their set was just as memorable as the group quite literally “Brought The Heat Back” with even more intense choreography and powerful vocals. Despite their 45-minute long set, they showed no signs of slowing down on their energy—a group that was truly born to be on stage.

And just when we thought the show was over, the screens lit up with teasers for their upcoming comeback, along with a name reveal for DESIRE : UNLEASH. This major announcement came about after the unveiling of their upcoming European and U.S. leg of ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’ during week one of festivities.
