BamBam Embraces Solitude in Pre-Release Single “Dancing By Myself” Ahead of First Thai Album ‘HOMETOWN’

BamBam, rapper and singer of the popular K-pop group GOT7, has unveiled his pre-release single “ไม่มีใครสักคืน (Dancing By Myself) (Feat. Timethai)” on September 12 as the first step toward his highly anticipated Thai album HOMETOWN. The album is set for release on October 10, making this moment both a musical and personal milestone for the Bangkok-born artist.
The track arrives with an empowering message wrapped in smooth production. Lyrics like “If you wanna dance then dance with somebody / I’ll be all night dancing by myself” reflect the theme of solitude, but not in a melancholy way. Instead, BamBam embraces the freedom that comes with enjoying his own presence, presenting solitude as something liberating. In a world often drowned in noise, his music feels like an invitation to find calm, confidence and even joy in moments of being alone.
The accompanying music video perfectly complements the theme. Shot at a sky lounge with Bangkok’s glittering nightlife as the backdrop, the visuals showcase BamBam’s trademark charisma alongside Timethai, who joins him in the song and performance. Their synchronized choreography against the sprawling cityscape captures the vibe of Bangkok after dark: vibrant, stylish and alive. Even the logo of HOMETOWN reflects BamBam’s thoughtful artistry. The “W” in the title is stylized with a /\ shape, symbolizing folded hands. In Thai culture, this gesture—known as “wai”—signifies gratitude and respect. The design choice feels like BamBam's thank you letter to his hometown, underscoring how personal this first Thai album is. With art, talent and soul woven into every detail, HOMETOWN already promises to be one of his most meaningful works.
“Dancing By Myself” is a statement of independence, a celebration of solitude and a stylish preview of what fans can expect from this milestone album. HOMETOWN will officially be released on October 10 at 8 PM ICT.

Following the release of HOMETOWN, BamBam will also host a special concert to celebrate the album. The event is scheduled for November 22 and will take place at Thunderdome Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
