This week, MONSTA X drops their first release of 2026 with new single, "growing pains." The track teases their third English album, making them the first K-pop group to do so. The K-pop boy group first debuted in 2015 with the album Trespass. Currently composed of six members—Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M—MONSTA X have delivered different concepts and a variety of genres over the course of their 10-year-long career.

MONSTA X is back in full force and fans are hyped for their upcoming mini-album, The X, set to release on September 1, 2025, at 6 PM KST. This comeback is extra special as it marks the group’s first full-member release since their 2021 mini-album One of a Kind, which featured the hit title track "Gambler." After years of staggered military enlistments (with the exception of rapper I.M), all six members—Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M—are now reunited.
