Japanese rock legend HYDE is set to release his highly anticipated album JEKYLL on March 11. The release follows the debut of his latest single, "THE ABYSS," which premiered with an accompanying music video in January on the artist's birthday.

Known for his mix of dark and emotional rock sound with a bit of a gothic edge, HYDE mixes moody verses with big, theatrical choruses. The new 10-track album features previously released singles "NOSTALGIC," "FINAL PIECE," and "THE ABYSS." JEKYLL also includes HYDE's reimagined version of "MAISIE," which was featured in the anime series Black Butler - Emerald Witch Arc with Japanese rock band Cö shu Nie. The album features his version of "SSS," a track he originally collaborated on with K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

In support of the album, the HYDE Orchestra Tour 2026 JEKYLL kicked off earlier this year in Koriyama, Fukushima. The tour will culminate in back-to-back performances at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa on March 31 and April 1.

In a historic milestone, HYDE will perform with a Vienna-based orchestra in Austria on May 25, making him the first Japanese rock artist to do so.
